Google sidewiki - online corporate communications just got harder
PrincipalRead all Mark's posts
Google side what?
That was my first reaction as well.
However, pay attention folks because the Googlemeister has just today launched a new social media tool that enables anyone to write whatever they like alongside your sparkling, shiny corporate web site.
Here is what they say about it:
"What if everyone, from a local expert to a renowned doctor, had an easy way of sharing their insights with you about any page on the web? What if you could add your own insights for others who are passing through?
Now you can. Today, we're launching Google Sidewiki, which allows you to contribute helpful information next to any webpage. Google Sidewiki appears as a browser sidebar, where you can read and write entries along the side of the page."
Helpful little rascals are they not?
Well, here is what it looks like:

That is just today. So, wait for a wee while and the news spreads, there will be a long queue of people waiting to write their own little notes of joy to Bill Gates ... and then your web site ...
Cheers
Mark
